LUDINGTON — A 55-year-old Ludington man was sentenced to three to 15 years in prison for convictions of unlawful imprisonment, assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court Tuesday, Jan. 27.
Thomas James Parker pleaded guilty to the charges Dec. 9, 2025.
He was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025 by Ludington Police Department following an incident in the 800 block of East Melendy Street that occurred the previous day, said Cpt. Michael Haveman of the Ludington Police Department.
“The victim was a female and was not injured. The weapon involved was a firearm,” said Cpt. Haveman.
Judge Susan K. Sniegowski sentenced Parker to concurrent terms of three to 15 years in prison with credit for 146 days served in jail; 17 months to four years in prison with credit for 146 days served in jail; and 93 days in jail with credit for 93 days served for the three convictions. He was also ordered to pay $316 in fines and costs.
Two counts of felony firearm were dismissed.
