Folks, we really need your help. We are asking for you to make a small monthly investment in order for us to continue to provide you with local news and sports coverage. Mason County Press and Oceana County Press are news services that operate with only two full time staff members. Two people cover the news and local sports of two counties, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Historically, readers of newspapers would buy subscriptions or pay for an individual newspaper. This is often the case for online services as well. While we are not quite at the point of creating this type of paywall, we are asking for you to consider a monthly commitment. We still receive support from our great advertisers but in order to keep the standard of service we currently offer, we need to grow our list of subscribers as well.
For about 33 cents a day, $10 a month, you will receive our Daily Briefing, which is an email that includes the day’s headlines along with some special features. We also send out the Sports Briefing several times a week. This service also includes breaking news emails as well.
The subscription can be paid for either monthly or annually.
