LUDINGTON — A 32-year-old man was sentenced to 20 months to 10 years in prison in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court Tuesday, Jan. 20, for a conviction of third-offense domestic violence.
Austin Grant Mareches pleaded guilty to the charge, Nov. 18. He received credit for 146 days served in jail.
Mareches committed the crime Aug. 28, 2025, according to court records.
He was sentenced to 18 months to five years in prison in Manistee County in 2022 for a conviction of third-offense domestic violence, according to Michigan Department of Corrections records. He also was sentenced in Gladwin County in 2014 for convictions of malicious destruction of a building over $20,000 and analogues possession. He received terms of three years and 11 months to 15 years for the malicious destruction conviction and one year and four months to two years for the drug conviction.
