CUSTER — The Mason County Eastern girls basketball teams each scored wins Thursday evening, Jan. 8, at post-winter break home games.
The varsity defeated Mesick 44-15. The junior varsity defeated Big Rapids Crossroads Charter Academy 26-10.
“We had a strong showing coming out of the holiday break,” MCE Coach Jake Smith said. “I was really pleased with our execution tonight. We were able to break their press which led to some transition buckets. Our guard play was strong all night long and we out rebounded Mesick on the night.”
