Monday, Jan. 5, 2026:
- 12:54 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), vehicle slide-off, no damage or injury, US 31 freeway at the 160 mile marker, Summit Township.
- 4:45 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road north of Treml Road, Free Soil Township.
- 7:01 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of Tuttle Road, Custer Township.
- 10:36 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Free Soil Road east of Ordway Road, Free Soil Township.
- 1:52 p.m., (MCSO), a 65-year-old Scottville woman turned herself in at the sheriff’s office on an outstanding Mason County drug warrant, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 3:17 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, minor injury, US 31 freeway south of the Ludington rest area, Summit Township.
- 3:38 p.m., (Ludington Police Department) a 44-year-old Ludington man was contacted in reference to an active warrant issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court, 400 block of South James Street, City of Ludington. He was arrested and transported to the Mason County Jail where he was lodged.
- 5:42 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of Carr Road, Pere Marquette Township.
- 5:47 p.m.,(MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road south of Hansen Road, Custer Township.
- 9:26 p.m., (LPD), a 55-year-old Ludington man was contacted in the area of Fifth Street and Washington Avenue, City of Ludington. He was found to be highly intoxicated and unable to care for himself. After being cared for at Corewell Health Ludington Hospital, he was arrested for public intoxication and lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 10:30 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Pere Marquette Township.
- 11:06 p.m., (LPD), a 37-year-old Ludington man cited for operating without insurance, Melendy and South James, City of Ludington.
Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026:
- 4:49 a.m., (LPD), a 39-year-old Hart man was arrested for probation violation, 900 block of East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
