SCOTTVILLE — West Michigan Christian defeated Mason County Central Tuesday night, Jan. 6, 52-38.
“It was a close game all the way through until the last three minutes,” MCC Coach Chris VanderHaag said. “That’s where we got ourselves into trouble with a few unforced turnovers and some three shot opportunities. Tyler Norton fouled out about at that same time which didn’t help. He played a real good game tonight on both ends.
“I thought all the boys played really hard tonight. Once we started fouling it was over. They were 12/14 at the line in the final stretch. We got to be better in finishing games. That’s on us coaches too.”
