The following is police activity in Mason County over the weekend:

Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025:

• 9:29 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 56-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and open intoxicants following a vehicle crash, Victory Corner Road and Victory Drive, Victory Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Friday, Dec. 19, 2025:

• 7:13 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), one-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of Meisenheimer Road, Summit Township.
• 8:07 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
• 10:21 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Main Street north of First Street, Village of Custer.
• 12:41 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 north of US 10, Amber Township.
• 6:45 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
• 8:45 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of US 31, Amber Township.

Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025:

• 12:34 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stephens Road south of Koenig Road, Free Soil Township.
• 3:31 p.m., (MCSO), a warrant is being requested for a 32-year-old Mason County man following a call regarding a reported retail fraud, and the suspect fled the scene, Walmart, West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
• 6:51 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Custer and Freeman roads, Free Soil Township.

Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025:

• 1:32 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 25-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and resisting arrest following a traffic stop near Ludington Avenue and Staffon Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 8:24 a.m., a 30-year-old Ludington woman was cited for operating without insurance, US 10 and US 31, Amber Township.
• 9:16 a.m., (LPD), a 48-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop, Ludington Avenue and Emily Street, City of Ludington.
• 2:17 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville Road south of Hawley Road, Eden Township.
• 6:16 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
• 7:46 p.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old Branch man was arrested on a warrant and charged with trespassing following a disturbance at the Rendezvous Bar, East US 10, Branch Township. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 10:49 p.m., (LPD), a 43-year-old Free Soil man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and resisting arrest following an incident in the 300 block West Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
