HOLTON — It was a challenging game but Mason County Central defeated Holton 47-38 in West Michigan Conference play Friday, Dec. 19.
“It was a tough game tonight,” said MCC Coach Brent Lyon. “Holton came to play tonight but so did we. It was a back and forth ball game until the fourth quarter when we made a run that they couldn’t catch. Jessica Petersen played well on both ends of the floor and Aarilyn O’Brien had a big game underneath and on the boards. Very happy to go into break on a three game winning streak.”
The Spartans are 3-1 in the season.
