LUDINGTON — West Shore Bank and its customers recently raised $20,034.61 in its annual Spirit of Giving initiative. Funds raised are donated to local nonprofit charitable organizations to assist families during the holidays.
This year’s initiative supported six counties and organizations including:
- Mason County – $2,452.32 plus 3,100 non-perishable items (valued at $2022) for Hand2Hand, helping eliminate childhood hunger during weekends and school breaks.
- Oceana County – $1,371.22 for Love Inc., offering a hand-up to those in need.
- Manistee County – $2,979.60 for Stomp Out Cancer, providing financial assistance and support to local cancer patients and their families.
- Muskegon County – $1,515.83 for No More Sidelines, empowering individuals with disabilities through sports and community activities.
- Benzie County – $1,370.82 for Benzie Senior Resources, enhancing programs that improve the lives of older adults.
- Grand Traverse County – $10,344.82 for Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center, protecting children and providing critical support for victims of abuse.
