PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — An elderly couple was injured in a two-vehicle crash on US 10 near Pere Marquette Highway after another vehicle pulled out into their path Wednesday, Dec. 17, around 5 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
“A 26-year-old Alma, Mich. woman received minor injuries after the vehicle she was driving pulled into the path of an eastbound vehicle,” said Sheriff Cole. The occupants of the second vehicle — a 78-year-old Ludington man and a 77-year-old Ludington woman — were both transported to Corewell Health Ludingotn Hosptial by Life EMS for non-life-threatening injuries.
In addition to Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies, other emergency responders dispatched to the scene included Pere Marquette Township Fire Department, Ludington Fire Department, and Life EMS.
