The Mason County Emporium is located at the Rose Hawley Archives on the southwest intersection of Ludington Avenue and Harrison Street in downtown Ludington.
LUDINGTON — The Mason County Historical Society is giving out a free membership as a thank you for shopping during the Downtown Ludington Holiday Shopping Night on Thursday, Dec. 18. Shoppers who spend an accumulated minimum of $25 at any participating downtown retailer and also a minimum of $25 the Mason County Historical Society’s Mason County Emporium, will receive a free membership, valued up to $140.
Shoppers may bring their receipt from that evening into the Mason County Emporium, 130 E. Ludington Ave. and receive the membership. The membership may also be used as a gift.
A Mason County Historical Society membership provides unlimited free admission to Historic White Pine Village and the Port of Ludington Maritime Museum. It also includes a 10% discount at any of the society’s gift shops, a subscription to the society’s e-news and Mason Memories, and up to 12 free research appointments at the downtown Rose Hawley Archives. It also includes free admission at select events such as the popular Winter Speakers Series.
The Mason County Historical Society is a charitable non-profit organization that relies solely on memberships, admission fees and donations. Sales from the Mason County Emporium help preserve local history.
