LUDINGTON — The Fremont Packers bested the Ludington Orioles Thursday, Dec. 11 during a home game at Hawley Gymnasium, 48-36.
“We had a great start 11-0, but Fremont battled back and really controlled the middle quarters,” said LHS Coach Warren Stowe.
The Orioles led the Packers in the first quarter 13-5. Scoring only 6 points in the second quarter versus Fremont’s 16, the Orioles fell behind 21-19 at the end of the first half. From there, Fremont led the rest of the game.
“I’m proud of our fight and effort.”
The Orioles are 0-2 for the season.
