WHITE CLOUD — The White Cloud Indians defeated the Mason County Eastern Cardinals Monday, Dec. 9, 59-48.
“We’re heading in the right direction,” said MCE Coach Austin Boundy. “We’ve had two close and very winnable games in the last week where our execution falls apart in the final minutes. But, we’ve fixed a lot of our big mistakes from last year. It’s just a little cleanup work at this point.
“Aaron (Drake) and Arik (Verschueren) played excellent games inside and Kaiden (Lague) shot the ball well again. We’ve got the pieces there. Just gotta figure out how to put them together.”
