Connie Soderberg
Constance Dawn (Farley) Soderberg, 80, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, with her granddaughter Sophia Gnatkowski by her side at MediLodge of Ludington.
Connie was born on November 2, 1945, in West Branch, to Helen Louise (Howe) Farley and Isaac Farley. She was the eighth born out of 10 children.
Family and God were the most important things in life to Connie. Legally blind her whole life she raised her four boys as a single mother near beautiful Hog Back Lake in LeRoy. She also helped care for the neighborhood babies and children; this brought her much joy. Connie was always cooking with her gospel records playing in the background, feeding anyone who stopped by.
She is survived by her sons; James Anthony Evans (1964), Joseph Anthony Evans (1972), Edwin Alfred Soderberg (1978), and Michael John Soderberg (1980); grandchildren, Sophia (Matthew) Gnatkowski, Benjamin Anthony (Nicole) Evans, Natalie Evans, Savanah Adison Soderberg, Michael John Soderberg II; great-granddaughter Macy Evans; and sister, Kathrine Johnson.
A celebration of life will be celebrated on a later date.
