LUDINGTON — The Mason County Historical Society will present “Michigan Lumberjacks and the Old Growth Forest,” presented by Lumberjack & Logging Museum of Grand Rapids, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20 at the Mason County Historical Society Rose Hawley Archives, 130 E. Ludington Ave.
The program will discuss lumberjacks and the logging industry in Michigan in the late 1800s, and the story of the forests they worked in. The presentation will feature a display ofauthentic artifacts used by lumberjacks.
