Friday, Oct. 24, 2025
– 7:42 a.m., Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO): Car/deer crash, no injuries, Chauvez Road west of Custer Road, Eden Township.
– 1:35 p.m., MCSO: A 33-year-old Scottville woman was arrested at Thornwild Apartments, City of Scottville, on an outstanding warrant for retail fraud from Mason County.
– 7:39 p.m., MCSO: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Tuttle Road north of Gajeski Road, Free Soil Township.
– 8:59 p.m., MCSO: An arrest warrant has been requested for a 36-year-old Ludington woman following a reported retail fraud at Walmart, 4854 W. US 10, Pere Marquette Township. An additional warrant has been requested for possession of methamphetamine.
– 10:14 p.m., Ludington Police Department (LPD): An 18-year-old Ludington man was arrested for reckless driving following a traffic stop near the intersection of Ludington Avenue and Robert Street, City of Ludington. He was issued an appearance ticket to appear in 79th District Court and released.
– 11:12 p.m., MCSO: Report of a mailbox smashed by a pumpkin, 5400 block of South Brye Road, Riverton Township.
Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025
– 4:27 a.m., LPD: A 20-year-old Manistee woman was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated following a traffic stop near the intersection of William and Haight streets, City of Ludington. She was transported to the Mason County Jail.
– 6:10 a.m., MCSO: Car/deer crash, no injuries, US 31 north of Koenig Road, Free Soil Township.
– 8:11 a.m., MCSO: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Sugar Grove Road west of Tuttle Road, Sherman Township.
– 9:02 a.m., MCSO: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Sugar Grove and Schoenherr roads, Sherman Township.
– 1:59 p.m., MCSO: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Sugar Grove Road west of Gordon Road, Victory Township.
– 7:04 p.m., MCSO: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Benson Road south of Ford Lake Road, Sheridan Township.
– 11:12 p.m., MCSO: Car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10 east of Taylor Road, Branch Township.
Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025
– 8:33 a.m., MCSO: Car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10 east of Gibson Road, Branch Township.
– 10:31 a.m., LPD: A 20-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for violation of temporary instructional driving permit following a traffic stop near the intersection of First Street and Conrad Industrial Drive, City of Ludington. She was issued an appearance ticket and released.
– 11:30 a.m., MCSO: A 44-year-old Ludington man was arrested at Memorial Tree Park, 1598 N. Washington Ave., Pere Marquette Township, for an outstanding warrant out of Mason County for probation violation.
– 7:44 p.m., MCSO: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Stiles Road south of Decker Road, Amber Township.
– 11:07 p.m., MCSO: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Jebavy Drive south of Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
