Judy Amador
Judy Louise Amador, 65, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in Houston, Texas. She was born on August 2, 1960, in Ludington to her late father Arturo Amador and surviving mother JoAnne Amador Borden.
Judy graduated from Holly High School in 1978. She was known for her excellent sense of humor and enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including watching the Houston Astros, crafting beautiful Cricut cards, scrapbooking, making beaded jewelry, and playing card games and Yahtzee. Her warm spirit and joyful laughter will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Judy is survived by her son, Troy (Michelle) Amador; her brothers, Art (Glenda) and Jeff Amador; her sister, Deanna Wilson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Nicholas Amador.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Judy’s memory can be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025, at noon at Grace Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
