LUDINGTON — West Shore Family Support will host its annual Pumpkins in the Park glow walk fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 11 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cartier Park. During the one-mile luminary-lit walk, there will be giveaways, treat stations and a pumpkin path, featuring hand-carved pumpkins created by local community members.
West Shore Family Support is a non-profit organization that, in 2024, provided support for 33 newborns and their families by furnishing 49,500 diapers, 175 cans of formula, 9,600 articles of clothing and teaching 717 parenting classes.
There are four ways to donate to the event. Participants can register and donate through FundEasy. Click here to register and/or to donate. Pay $1 per pumpkin vote. Make a donation at the event. Assist in sponsoring the event.
WSFS will also host a pumpkin carving party at the 10 Spot, 5750 W. US 10, Pere Marquette Township, on Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. The goal of the fundraising event is 100 pumpkins. Participants can bring their own pumpkins or can purchase one at the site. Carving tools will be provided along with free doughnuts and apple cider.
