PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 32-year-old Mason County man was arrested after he reportedly urinated in the parking lot of the Murphy Gas Station on US 10 Saturday, Sept. 20, around 6:30 p.m., said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
“He was told repeatedly that he needed to leave,” said Sheriff Cole. “However, he refused and was arrested.” The man was charged with trespassing.

- 7:49 am., car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain Road west of Anderson Road, Victory Township.
- 7:53 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain Road west of Stephens Road, Sherman Township.
- 3 p.m., two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, 5500 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
- 10:04 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Sherman Road south of Dewey Road, Hamlin Township.
Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025:
- 11:56 a.m., damaged property, 300 block of West Second Street, City of Scottville. The complainant reported a sign post was bent due to being hit by a vehicle.
- 5 p.m., larceny of a purse from a vehicle, South Reek Road and Indian Bridge, Custer Township.
- 6:29 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Meyers Road, Amber Township.
- 8:17 p.m., larceny and breaking and entering of a vehicle, South Walhalla Road near the Pere Marquette River, Branch Township. Several DeWalt power tools were stolen from a vehicle.
Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025:
- Noon, two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31and Johnson Road, Amber Township.
- 3:33 p.m., car/deer crash, minor injury, US 10 east of Quarterline Road, Amber Township.
Monday, Sept. 22, 2025:
- 7:30 a.m.,one-vehicle rollover crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of the Chauvez Road Overpass, Pere Marquette Township.
- 9:31 a.m.,one-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Walhalla Road, Branch Township.
Tuesday, Sept, 23, 2025:
- 7:16 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Johnson Road east of Gordon Road, Amber Township.
- 1:12 p.m., two-vehicle crash, minor injury, US 10 west of Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township.
- 4:04 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
