LUDINGTON — Lakeshore Food Club will hold its annual Harvesting Hope gala on Thursday, Oct. 2 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lake House, 704 Maritime Dr.
The event will include a farm-to-table dinner, opportunities to give, and networking.
“Harvesting Hope is our night to stand together as a community, united by one powerful belief: that food is a right, not a privilege,” said O’Nealya Gronstal, executive director of Lakeshore Food Club. “Every ticket, every sponsorship, and every gift is an investment in dignified access, ensuring our neighbors have the power of choice and a foundation to thrive.
Funds raised through Harvesting Hope will provide operational support for Lakeshore Food Club’s expanding programs, including the flagship Food Club at 920 E. Tinkham; school-placed programs, including the weekend backpack program for the Ludington Area School District, the school-placed Wolfpack Food Club at Gateway to Success in Scottville, and the newest Spartan Food Club at Mason County Central Schools in Scottville; the growing Regional Food Hub in Hart, which strengthens local food systems and expands access across west Michigan.
Tickets and sponsorships are available now at www.LakeshoreFoodClub.org/harvest.
