LUDINGTON — A candlelight vigil will be held in honor of the late Charlie Kirk on Wednesday, Sept. 17 beginning at 6 p.m. Kirk, a conservative activist who encouraged public debate on social and political issues, was assassinated last week on a college campus in Utah. The local event will begin at the Mason County Courthouse with participants then walking to Stearns Park where the vigil will be held. Those who are unable to walk that distance are encouraged to meet at the courthouse then drive to Stearns Park.
