Carole Strall
Carole “Gus” Jeanne Strall, 85, of Ludington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
Born on May 1, 1940, in Ludington, Carole was the daughter of the late Elmer and Alberta (Gray) Gustafson. Carole graduated from Ludington High School, Class of 1958. She married John Strall on Jan. 10, 1970.
Carole was an administrative assistant at Farm Bureau Insurance before retiring. She had also worked at Star Watch Case in Ludington in the 1970s.
She was a member of the Professional Secretaries International, the Literary Club, and the Investment Club.
Carole had a special love for horses and cats. She also enjoyed gardening in the spring and summer, reading on the slower days, and camping when able to.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents, sister Kathy, and her husband John.
Carole is survived by her sister Linda (Ken) Vandervest, special stepdaughters Debbie Silvers and Dona Smith, nieces and nephews, and special cousin Dr. Margaret Gustafson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
