LUDINGTON — West Shore Bank’s recent Rhythm & Dunes summer concert series raised a record-setting $22,000 in support of Mason County school band programs. Proceeds from the 13th annual event will be shared among Ludington Area Schools, Mason County Central Schools, and Mason County Eastern Schools.
Funds raised at the event were through in-person and online donations, merchandise sales, food vendor contributions, and a $1,800 donation from the Ludington Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Since its launch, Rhythm & Dunes has raised $159,250 for local music programs.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from our community and donors,” said Ray Biggs, president and CEO. “This record-breaking year wouldn’t have been possible without them.”
