Josie Watson

In Loving Memory of Josie Watson.

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Josie (Josephine) Watson, 91, on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Village Manor in Ludington, Michigan. She was born and grew up in Meadowlake, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Josie was the beloved wife of the late Barry Watson and will be sadly missed by her children Sandra (Joe) Robinet of Ludington, David Watson of Tucson, Robert (Lisa) Watson of Tucson, Florence (Andrew) Lavoie of Calgary and her brother Robert of Saskatchewan. Josie was also loved by her grandchildren Alyssa (Steve) Robinet, Jeff (Jess) Robinet and Michelle (Jason) Robinet. She was predeceased by her parents Sarazine and Henri, brother Fred and sisters Rosa, Frances, Irene and Louise.

Josie and Barry were married one month shy of 60 years. She was the love of Barry’s life. They lived in Saskatchewan, Ontario and Arizona. They traveled by motorhome all over the U.S. and Canada.

Josie worked for many years as a nurse tech at St. Mary’s hospital in Tucson and also did home care. She loved taking care of people and worked until she was in her 70s. She was a great friend, always ready to help when needed. She was a wonderful, and a loving and caring mom and grandmother. We were all very lucky to have had her in our lives. She will be truly missed.
