The Farm Science Lab will be visiting the Mason County District Library branches this week.
It will provide two classes on Monday, August 4 at the Ludington library, 217 E. Ludington Ave., starting at 1 p.m. all students in grades kindergarten to second grade are invited to come and learn about agriculture. There will be interactive science and a project to take home. At 1:45 p.m., a program about how sugar is grown and manufactured will be offered to students in third, fourth, and fifth grades.
On Wednesday, Aug. 6, the lab will visit the Scottville library, 204 E. State St. At 1 p.m., students grades kindergarten through second can learn about window gardens. At 1:45 p.m. students in third through fifth grade can participate in a program about erosion.
All library programs are free. Children under age 8 must be supervised by an adult.
