The following is police activity in Mason County over the weekend:

Friday, July 25, 2025:

• 8:13 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 52-year-old Eaton Rapids man was arrested for domestic assault following a 911 call, 7300 block of East Barothy Road, Branch Township.
• 1:22 p.m., (MCSO), hit-and-run crash, no injury, 4400 block of West Decker Road, Victory Township. A vehicle struck a mailbox.
• 1:42 p.m., (MCSO), a 69-year-old Roscommon woman was arrested on two outstanding warrants issued in Lake County for a conservation violation and animal abandonment/cruelty, US 10 and Nelson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
• 2:23 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Amber Township.
• 3:19 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Gordon Road, Amber Township.
• 3:30 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, 1900 block of West US 10, Amber Township.
• 6:49 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Johnson Road and Main Street, City of Scottville.
• 8:02 p.m., (MCSO), a 44-year-old Ludington man was cited for operating without insurance, operating without a license and operating without registration following a traffic stop, Forest Trail and Quarterline Road, Grant Township.
• 10:14 p.m., (MCSO) , car/deer crash, no injury, Quarterline Road north of Forest Trail, Grant Township.

July 26, 2025:

• 3:34 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of North Scottville Road, Amber Township.
• 6:13 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, Wildwood Crossing, Amber Township. A 68-year-old Ludington man was cited following for allegedly driving away from the crash scene.
• 11:25 a.m., (MCSO), larceny of cash, Walmart, Pere Marquette Township. The complainant reported withdrawing $60 cash from the self-checkout and then walked away, forgetting the cash. When the person returned a short time later,  the cash was gone.
• 3:03 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, 3900 block of West US 10, Amber Township.
• 9:18 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 19-year-old Ludington man was arrested for disorderly conduct, 900 block of West Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 9:57 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Quarterline Road south of Countyline Road, Grant Township.

Sunday, July 27, 2025:

• 5:45 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Morton Road south of Chauvez Road, Riverton Township.
• 11:19 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway north of Pere Marquette Rail, Pere Marquette Township.
• 12:09 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Brye Road, Amber Township.
• 1:43 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Brye Road, Amber Township.
• 7:59 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Meyers Road, Amber Township.
• 8:12 p.m., (MCSO), a 39-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding Mason County failure to appear warrant and her husband, a 39-year-old Ludington man, was arrested on an outstanding contempt of court warrant issued in Kent County following a reported disturbance, 6500 block of North Stiles Road, Victory Township.
