VICTORY TOWNSHIP — Mason County Central’s Victory Early Childhood Center recently was awarded with the MI HEARTSafe School Award, a designation earned until the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
The MI HEARTSafe School Program is dedicated to ensuring schools are prepared for cardiac-related emergencies during and after school hours. The designation is awarded to schools that meet six criteria: A written cardiac emergency response plan, reviewed at least annually with staff for during the school day and organized after school activities and sports; staff certified in CPR/AED; performance of at least one cardiac emergency response drill per year; cardiac response team; sufficient number of AEDs; athletic pre-participation screening.
