The following is police activity in Mason County Monday, July 7, 2025:

• 7:32 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road east of US 31, Sherman Township.
• 8:30 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Lincoln Road north of Decker Road, Hamlin Township.
• 12:50 p.m., (MCSO), hit-and-run crash, no injury, 5400 block of East Millerton Road, Sheridan Township. A vehicle struck a mailbox and left the scene.
• 12:54 p.m., (MCSO), larceny of a mailbox and post, 1600 block of South Stiles Road, Amber Township.
• 9:54 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 41-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop near Washington Avenue and Third Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
• 11:18 p.m., (LPD), a 23-year-old Fountain man and a 24-year-old Fountain woman were both cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop near Ludington Avenue and Jackson Road, City of Ludington. The woman was arrested for a probation violation and was lodged at the Mason County Jail.
