PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — The United Methodist Church Choir of Ludington with the West Shore Community College Choir in collaboration with area vocalists and
musicians will present the 16th annual “Let Freedom Ring!” patriotic concerts Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 4 and 6 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Ludington, 5810 Bryant Rd.
As in years past, the event provides an array of inspirational music from traditional to contemporary that reflects the unique American spirit of freedom while paying tribute to the men and women in uniform who have defended and continue to defend these freedoms to this very day.
With a powerful 50-member vocal ensemble backed by a 15-piece band and featuring a host of gifted soloists, this year’s program should leave everyone charged up and ready for America’s birthday celebration.
Under the capable leadership of renowned musical directors Rebecca Sopha, Hunter Brown, and Elliot Plummer, this assembly of singers and instrumentalists have been “nursing and rehearsing” since May and are ready to light up the audience.
Featured soloists will include Theo Frigon, Ron Iris, Neysa Patterson, Elliot Plummer, Ben Swanson, and a special Children’s Choir.
A free-will offering will be dedicated to benefit the Mason County Veterans Endowment Fund.
All are encouraged to come out and experience the true spirit of freedom as told through some of this country’s greatest music.
