The following is police activity in Mason County Monday, June 9, 2025:
- 3:03 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), domestic assault, 2500 block of East Michigan Street, Village of Free Soil. A warrant is being requested for a 33-year-old Custer man following a 911 call reporting an assault after the suspect left the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
- 2:36 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
- 4:40 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Brye Road, Amber Township.
- 10:30 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 38-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a warrant for cocaine possession, 6000 block of Virnetta Drive, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
