Kiera Stockwell

Kieara Xaviera Stockwell, 16, of Ludington, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from an ORV accident in Branch. Kieara was born June 16, 2008, to James and Xaveria Stockwell. She was a proud member of the Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians and attended Ludington High School. She loved outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends. Kieara was a free spirit filled with passion. A humorous, kind and loving soul who will be missed but never forgotten. She was her big sister’s mini me who also left us too soon. Kieara’s motto was “punishment is temporary, memories are permanent.”

Kieara was preceded in death by her sister, Kassandra Frederick.

She is survived by: her father, James Stockwell of Ludington; mother, Xaveria Stockwell; brother, Casey Stockwell and family of Scottville; brother, Camron Stockwell; and aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins too numerous to mention.

A celebration of Kieara’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 13, 2025, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel, with Pastor Keith Theis officiating.  The family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeshore Animal Friends.

Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
