PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 45-year-old Fountain man was arrested near US 10 and Jebavy Drive Saturday, June 7, shortly after 8 p.m. after allegedly stealing a bicycle.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call reporting the theft of a bike in the 5700 block of Barton Road. The suspect was located riding the stolen bike and was arrested on charges of larceny and bond violation. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

- 12:30 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 27-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for methamphetamine possession following an incident in the 500 block of Fifth Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged at the Mason County Jail.
- 5:45 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Beaune Road south of Fountain Road, Hamlin Township.
- 2:13 p.m., (MCSO), a 64-year-old Free Soil woman was cited for driving while license revoked following a traffic stop, US 31 and Beyer Road, Sherman Township.
- 9:20 p.m., (MCSO), a 32-year-old Custer man was arrested on an outstanding Kent County Friend of the Court warrant following a 911 call reporting a disturbance, 4800 block of East Barothy Road, Branch Township.
- 10:17 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Decker Road west of Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.
Saturday, June 7, 2025:
- 7:12 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Meisenheimer Road, Riverton Township.
- 1:21 p.m., (MCSO) a 71-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 call reporting an assault, 5700 block of Barton Road, Pere Marquette Township.
- 5:58 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, with injuries, Quarterline Road and Forest Trail, Grant Township. A 45-year-old Manistee woman and 47-year-old Traverse City man were injured.
- 10:02 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of Gordon Road, Amber Township.
Sunday, June 8, 2025:
- 2:03 a.m., (LPD), a 42-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a warrant issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court, 200 block of East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 5:07 p.m., (LPD), a 47-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, 900 block of North Washington Avenue, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 6:38 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of the Conrad Road overpass, Amber Township.
- 7:38 p.m., (MCSO), larceny, Dollar General, North Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township. The suspect, who reportedly stole items from the store, left prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
