AMBER TOWNSHIP — Hand2Hand, an after-school food insecurity ministry led by Mason County Reformed Church is one of eight nominees being considered for a $10,00 grant from Great Lakes Energy. The grant will be decided by vote by Great Lakes Energy members who live in Mason, Lake, or Osceola counties to cast their vote for the program.
Hand2Hand assists students with food insecurities who attend Mason County Central and Mason County Eastern school districts by providing food on weekends during the school year. During the recent school year, 182 students were served.
