HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — The 2025 Hamlin Lakes fireworks display will be held on Saturday, July 5. The event is organized by the Hamlin Lake Preservation Society (HLPS) and is being funded through presenting sponsors West Shore Eye Center, West Shore Bank, and Cottage Works. The presenting sponsors, along with donations from hundreds of individuals, have made it possible to continue the annual tradition.
The fireworks show will begin about 10 p.m. with launching from Upper Hamlin Lake. Community members and visitors are invited to gather on the water or shoreline to enjoy a night of celebration under the stars.
In addition to the 2025 event, HLPS has already paid the deposit for the 2026 fireworks show, which will mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence—a milestone worthy of an extraordinary celebration.
The public is also invited to attend the annual HLPS dinner on Friday, June 20, 2025, at The Barn at Shagway. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m. The evening will feature a presentation from local historian James Jensen, president of the Mason County Historical Society.
