Chamber accepting nominations for Annual Awards

LUDINGTON — The Chamber Alliance of Mason County is now accepting nominations for its Annual Awards. Award categories are Mason County Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Community Service, and Future Five. Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. on July 11.

The Chamber Alliance Awards honor the exceptional achievements of businesses, organizations, and individuals who drive innovation, foster community engagement, and fuel economic growth across a range of categories.

“This is our opportunity to shine a spotlight on those who go above and beyond to make Mason County a better place to live, work, and grow,” said Brandy Miller, president & CEO of the Chamber Alliance. “By recognizing excellence across businesses and individuals, we not only celebrate their accomplishments, but also strengthen the spirit of collaboration and progress in our community.”

All submitted nominations will be reviewed by the board of directors, after which a selection committee will shortlist the top four finalists in each category. Nominees in each category and winners announced at the chamber’s annual awards dinner on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at The Lake House.

AWARD CATEGORIES

Future Five

The Future Five Award recognizes five young professionals in Mason County who are making significant strides in their respective fields and are poised to shape the future of the area. These individuals demonstrate exceptional growth, leadership, and community engagement, contributing to the region’s development, prosperity, and overall quality of life. Nominees must be between the ages of 21 and 40 as of December 31, 2024, and can be nominated by anyone residing or working in Mason County.

Business of the Year Award (more than 20 employees)

The Business of the Year Award honors a Mason County business that has demonstrated exceptional achievements and innovation, particularly in the past year. This award recognizes a business that exemplifies excellence in various facets, including sales performance, service quality, customer satisfaction, leadership, and community engagement. The recipient of this award stands out for its ability to adapt to market dynamics, foster a positive workplace environment, and contribute significantly to the local community and economy. Nominations for this award are open to Chamber members who have shown outstanding dedication to success and community impact.

Small Business of the Year Award (20 or fewer employees)

The Small Business of the Year Award honors a Mason County business that has demonstrated exceptional achievements and innovation, particularly in the past year. This award recognizes a business that exemplifies excellence in various facets, including sales performance, service quality, customer satisfaction, leadership, and community engagement. The recipient of this award stands out for its ability to adapt to market dynamics, foster a positive workplace environment, and contribute significantly to the local community and economy. Nominations for this award are open to Chamber members who have shown outstanding dedication to success and community impact.

Community Service Award

This award honors an individual or group that has made significant contributions to the community through voluntary service. The recipient(s) should demonstrate a strong commitment to improving the quality of life in Mason County, with a particular emphasis on their efforts and achievements over the past year. This award seeks to recognize those who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to community service, inspiring others through their selflessness, leadership, and positive impact.
