Donna Marie Thomas, 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2025. She was a musician, singer, and an avid lover of show tunes and the Boston Red Sox.
Donna was born on November 7, 1956, to Lilly and Ralph Marston. She grew up near the coast of New Hampshire until she enlisted in the United States Army Band. It was here that she met her husband Tom. After her time in the military, she enrolled in Asbury University and later moved to Missouri. Following 10 years in the Ozarks, Donna moved to Ludington and Scottville, where she and her husband stayed until spring of 2022. She spent her last few years close to her family in Hampton, NH.
Donna was a devoted Christian who was passionate about her faith and her church. She loved singing and playing the flute in the community band. She was a loyal Boston Red Sox fan and lover of baseball, touring many of the country’s stadiums over the years.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Tom; parents Ralph and Lilly; and brother Greg.
She is survived by her sisters Pam and Joyce; brother Danny; sons Andy and Josh; loving in-laws; and grandchildren whom she adored.
There will be a small memorial for her family in New Hampshire.
