The following is police activity in Mason County Thursday, April 3, 2025:

  • 6:52 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Chauvez Road east of Benedict Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 8:12 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), an 18-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault, 500 block of North Lavinia Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail. 
  • 8:55 a.m., (MCSO), a 60-year-old Fountain man was cited for driving while license revoked following a traffic stop, US 10 and Darr Road, Custer Township.
  • 10:01 a.m., (MCSO), a 44-year-old Branch man was cited for operating without license following a traffic stop, US 10 and Benson Road, Branch Township.
  • 10:36 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Forest Trail Road #5972 south of Lake Michigan Drive, Grant Township.
  • 12:01 p.m., (MCSO), a 78-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop, Jebavy Drive and Rasmussen Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 12:41 p.m., (MCSO), a 40-year-old Rodney, Michigan man turned himself in to the Mason County Jail on an outstanding Mason County warrant for a charge of car theft, City of Ludington.
  • 1:07 p.m., (LPD), a 24-year-old Ludington man was arrested on two warrants, 200 block of East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.  The warrants were issued by the 79th District Court for failure to appear and probation violation. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.   
  • 6:09 p.m., (MCSO), a 26-year-old old Fountain woman was arrested on two outstanding Manistee County warrants for probation violation and failure to appear, and a 29-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding contempt of court warrant also issued in Manistee County, 2400 block of North 21st Street, Sheridan Township.
  • 7:43 p.m., (MCSO), a report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office seeking a charge of second-offense driving while license suspended following a car/deer crash, no injury, Hansen Road west of Dennis Road, Amber Township.
