Eugene Duncil, Sr.

Eugene T. Duncil, Sr., 78, of Scottville, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.  Eugene was born on August 1, 1946 in Manistee, the son of Warren and Dolores (Krause) Duncil Sr. and graduated from Mason County Eastern High School with the class of 1965.

While visiting every state in the Union he took pictures in front of each state’s welcome sign. He was also an antique car enthusiast and a member of the Pere Marquette Motoring Club before the open road started calling his name.  As an avid fisherman, Eugene enjoyed spending time on local lakes fishing for northern pike or bass and occasionally salmon.  He also looked forward to the fall when he could spend time out in the woods hunting with his family.
