Mini golf Charity Mondays to benefit local organizations

LUDINGTON — Several local organizations will once again benefit from the Ludington Area Jaycees’ Mini Golf Charity Mondays. Each Monday, from May 27 to Sept. 2 the Jaycees will donate 30% of game play at the course, located at Stearns Park, to the designated nonprofit groups.
Recipients include:
  • May 27 –  Ludington Petunia Parade
  • June 10 –   AFFEW (A Few Friends of the Environment of the World)
  • June 17 –  Shoreline FORCE (Families For Cycling Education)
  • June 24 –   Ludington High School boys soccer camp
  • July 1 –    Ludington Area Jaycees Freedom Festival  (Independence Day celebration including July 4 parade and fireworks)
  • July 8 –   Lakeshore Food Club      
  • July 15 –  Staircase Youth Services
  • July 22 –  Coats & Boots for Kids
  • July 29 –  Children’s Advocacy Center
  • Aug. 5 –   Caritas Food Pantry  
  • Aug. 12 –  St. Simon Haiti Outreach Program
  • Aug. 19 –  Ludington Resource Network
  • Aug. 26 –  Childhood Cancer Campaign   
  • Sept. 2  – Mason County Fire Relief Fund

The mini golf will be opened weekends beginning Friday, May 24 and then daily beginning Friday, June 7.

  • Friday, May 24: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 25: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 26: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Monday, May 27: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Friday, May 31, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 1, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m .
  • Sunday, June 2, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Beginning Friday, June 7 to Monday, Sept. 2 (Labor Day), open Sunday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.; weather permitting.
