Man with 37 grams of meth in his vehicle arrested

CUSTER TOWNSHIP — A 57-year-old Branch man was arrested following a traffic stop in which 37 grams of suspected methamphetamine were located in his vehicle Tuesday, April 16, shortly after 8 p.m. on US 10 near Bean Road, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The man was charged with meth possession and lodged in the Mason County Jail.

The following is other Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity Tuesday, April 16, 2024:

• 1:28 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, 3600 block of North Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.
• 4:20 p.m., illegal dumping of burned material, 3900 block of Blundell Road, Riverton Township.
• 11:48 p.m., alarm activation, Amber Township.
