Mason County Recreation registration underway

SCOTTVILLE — The Mason County Recreation program has begun its youth summer baseball, softball and t-ball registration. The program is open to all Mason County children. Registration deadline is Wednesday, April 17. The cost is $50 per player for all leagues (includes a t-shirt). There is a $10 late fee per child for registrations after the deadline.

Registration can take place online (click on QR code) or during scheduled registration events.

In person registration and payment will take place at Mason County Central High School on the following dates:

  • Monday, April 15 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 17 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Checks should be made payable to Mason County Central Schools.

Age eligibility: (the grades listed are for the 2023-2024 school year).

  • T-ball, boys and girls grades kindergarten through second grade Pony League, girls in third and fourth grades.
  • Mites League, boys in third and fourth grades.
  • Elementary League, girls in fifth and sixth grades.
  • Junior Ages, boys in fifth and sixth grades
  • Junior High League, girls in seventh and eighth grades.
  • West Shore League, boys in seventh and eighth grades.

Teams in the baseball and softball programs will also play against teams in the Ludington Recreation program.
