Ludington Meat Company wins top place at state competition

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Ludington Meat Company recently won three top awards at the annual convention of the Michigan Meat Association in Lansing.

Awards included Grand Champion in Bacon, Reserve Grand Champion in Boneless Hams and Reserve Grand Champion in Speciality Game.

“This marks an incredible milestone for us as it was our first time participating in such a competition,” said owner Alec Sanders. “With 20 discerning judges evaluating products based on appearance, taste, aroma, and more, it was truly an enriching experience.”:

The Michigan Meat Association was founded in 1958 and serves as a resource for small and mid-sized meat processors across the state of Michigan.

Ludington Meat Company is located at 3815 W. US 10-31 and features a full market, deli, butcher shop, smokehouse, and bar.
