WSCC professor to discuss Electoral College

LUDINGTON — West Shore Community College professor of history and political science Michael Nagle will speak about the Electoral College during the monthly meeting of the Mason County Democratic Party on Thursday, March 7. The free program will take place beginning at 7 p.m. in the West Shore Bank Room of the Ludington branch of the Mason County District Library, 217 E. Ludington Ave.

The program is open to the public and will include refreshments.

Michael W. Nagle holds a bachelor of arts degree in education and master of arts degree in history from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. He teaches history and political science at West Shore Community College, where he also serves as chair of the social sciences division. Nagle is an award-winning teacher and noted speaker covering a range of topics in American history, Michigan history, and student success and retention in the on-line classroom. His most recent book, “The Forgotten Iron King, Eber Brock Ward, 1811-1875”, published by Wayne State University Press in 2022, won the State History Award from the Historical Society of Michigan. Nagle lives in Ludington.
