The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024:

• 7:37 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 44-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued in Lake County following a traffic stop near the intersection of Ludington Avenue and Staffon Street, City of Ludington. She was arrested and turned over to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024:

• 7:15 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Poplar Road, Custer Township.

Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024:

• 6:15 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Hansen Road, Custer Township.
• 7:35 am., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Brye Road, Amber Township. A 37 year-old Canton, Michigan man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following the investigation.
• 11:06 a.m., (MCSO), a 52-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for assault issued by LPD, 6500 block of South Brye Road, Summit Township.
• 11:31 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Hansen Road west of Amber Road, Amber Township.
• 1:04 p.m., (LPD), a 57-year-old Branch man was cited for driving without insurance and expired registration following a traffic stop near the intersection of Madison and Danaher streets, City of Ludington.
• 10:42 p.m., (LPD), a 58-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault, 200 block of East Filer Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
