West Shore Bank to offer scholarships

LUDINGTON — West Shore Bank will award six Making a Difference Scholarships this year to students who are pursuing higher education. Each scholarship will be $1,000.

The program is designed to recognize outstanding achievements and provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate exemplary dedication to their academic goals.

“Whether students plan to attend college, university, or vocational school, West Shore Bank is committed to helping them achieve their dreams,” said Raymond Biggs, CEO of West Shore Bank. “At West Shore Bank, we believe in the power of education to transform lives and shape brighter futures. We are thrilled to again offer this scholarship program to support promising young scholars in their journey towards higher education.”

The scholarship application is open to high school students who meet the eligibility criteria. Applicants must live in Mason, Manistee, Oceana, Benzie, Muskegon or Grand Traverse counties.

The application deadline is April 12, 2024, at 11 p.m. All applicants will be notified in May on the status of their application.
