Deputies respond to multiple vehicle slide-offs on snowy, icy roads

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple vehicle slide-offs on snowy and icy roads Tuesday, Jan. 16. No one was injured, and no vehicles were damaged.

The following is MCSO activity Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2023:

  • 2:33 a.m., an 18-year-old Ludington man was cited for operating without a license following a traffic stop, US 10 and Schoenherr Road, Branch Township.
  • 10:19 a.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, State Street east of Reinberg Road, City of Scottville.
  • 4:15 p.m., vehicle slide-off, US 31 freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
  • 5:06 p.m., vehicle slide-off, Scottville and Wilson roads, Custer Township.
  • 5:25 p.m., vehicle slide-off, Fountain Road east of Stephens Road, Sherman Township.
  • 5:32 p.m., vehicle slide-off, Scottville Road north of Johnson Road, Custer Township.
  • 9:16 p.m., vehicle slide-off, Stiles and Townline roads, Victory Township.
  • 10:16 p.m., a 33-year-old Manistee woman was arrested on an outstanding Mason County warrant for failure to appear,, US 31 and Countyline Road, Grant Township.
