Ludington Writers issues call for submissions, accepting scholarship applications

LUDINGTON — Ludington Writers has opened submissions for its publications: “Making Waves: A West Michigan Review” and “Beach Combings.” Both publications offer a platform to showcase diverse voices and perspectives of writers and artists.

The “Making Waves: A West Michigan Review” submission period is  Jan. 1 to  April 30 with the theme of “feral space.” Writers and artists are encouraged to explore the wild and transformative aspects of untouched spaces, from the natural world to the depths of human experience.

While the Ludington Writers focuses on poetry, it also accepts visual art and short writing pieces of non-fiction (essays and memoirs) and fiction (flash, micro, and short stories). The group will also consider speculative fiction.

Sequential art should be submitted under the “visual art” category.
