Man arrested for OWI following crash

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — A 71-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following an investigation of a two-vehicle crash Thursday, Nov. 16 at 4:40 p.m at Jagger Road and Lakeshore Drive, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. No one was injured.

The following is other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023:

  • 1:24 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Gordon Road, Amber Township.
  • 6:53 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Sugar Grove Road, Victory Township.
  • 4:40 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of Maple Road, Branch Township.
  • 5:20 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville Road north of Conrad Road, Custer Township.
  • 6:05 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive south of Dewey Road, Hamlin Township.
  • 7:36 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway south of Chauvez Road, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 10:10 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, Chauvez Road west of Stiles Road, Riverton Township.
  • 10:31 p.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, Custer Road south of Beyer Road, Sherman Township.
