Woman cited for ‘under ringing’ at Walmart

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 37 year-old Ludington woman was cited for retail fraud after reportedly “under ringing” $56.46 in items at Walmart Friday, Nov. 3, around 7:30 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Friday, Nov. 3, 2023:

  • 6:24 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Dewey Road, Sherman Township.
  • 12:44 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road east of US 31, Sherman Township.
  • 2:40 p.m., MCSO), a 26-year-old Ocean Springs, Missouri man received non-life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash, with injury, Jebavy Drive north of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 6:13 p.m., MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville Road north of Bradshaw Road, Custer Township.
  • 6:30 p..m., MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Free Soil Road west of Reek Road, Free Soil Township.

Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023:

  • 2:56 a.m., MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Quarterline Road north of White Road, Grant Township.
  • 9:20 p.m., MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Amber Road, Amber Township.
  • 9:26 p.m., MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain Road east of Custer Road, Sherman Township.
  • 10:01 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 54-year-old Ludington man was cited for driving while license suspended, Dowland Street and Washington Avenue, City of Ludington.

Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023:

  • 9:03 a.m., MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of the US 31 freeway, Amber Township.
  • 3:38 p.m., (LPD), a 36-year-old Fountain woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated, Oriole Field, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 4:52 p.m., MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Walhalla and Aspen roads, Branch Township.

No activity in Mason County over the weekend was reported by the Michigan State Police, and there was no activity reported by the Scottville Police Department.
