Larr hired as head of Ludington DPW

LUDINGTON — The City of Ludington has hired Andy Larr as its next superintendent of the Department of Public works. Larr will replace Joe Stickney, who will be retiring effective February 24, 2024. See related story here. Larry will begin his duties with the city on Nov. 21.

“Mr. Larr comes to us with a leadership background after 24 years with Pere Marquette Charter Township, including 14 as its Water-Sewer/Department of Public Works superintendent,” said City Manager Mitch Foster. “In addition, Andy has been a member of the Ludington Fire Department for 29 years.” Larr currently serves as assistant fire chief of LFD and also serves on Hamlin Township Fire Department.
